Voting Your Values Can Save America!

10/1/2012

Join thousands of Christian Americans now as we make a solemn pledge to use our spiritual and Bible given rights of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” in voting for future leaders.
Elections will be held from the local sheriff’s offices to the Presidential Office.  We must obey and honor God’s word.  America needs YOU to vote Biblical values.  I believe that these elections will determine the spiritual and moral survival of our nation.   How can you and I make a difference?

Vacate

The word “vacate” urges one to cease to hold onto, or to give up.  God’s Word is powerful in instructions.  II Corinthians 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord and touch not the unclean things and I will receive you.”  It is time for Christians to leave any political party or political persuasion that denies God, promotes atheism and false religions, and does not support the nation of Israel, God’s chosen people.  Christians are warned by God’s Word to be “separated” from unbelievers, abortionists, and gay rights promoters.  God says “I will receive you.”  II Corinthians 6:14 declares “be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.” Avoid all affiliation with heathen beliefs and practices.   We are to vacate the darkness.

Voice

We, God’s People, are well aware that God can heal our land.  Our silence has produced a secular, Godless nation.  David declared in Psalms 9:17, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”
One definition of voice is “the right or opportunity to express a choice or an opinion.”  Have we lost our voice because we are God’s people?   NO, a thousand times, NO.  Let’s voice our love of God, His Word, and our founding fathers.  Do not fear the American Civil Liberties Union and the liberal media.
America cannot and will not survive on the path that she now treads.  Her only salvation will be God, godly principles, moral values, and strong Christian families.  Act to help lead our nation out of the politically-correct fog and into moral clarity. Voice aloud Proverbs 14:34, “righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people.”  Remember God’s promise to “raise up righteous leaders and to remove ungodly leaders.”  We must pray and seek His face as stated in II Chronicles 7.

VOTE

Pledge now to vote for Christian values.  Ask God for direction and guidance in the selection of those that will govern our country.  Vote as God taught Moses and the people of Israel. Deuteronomy 16:18 “judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes:  and they shall judge the people with just judgment.”

Voting values can save our nation!  Christians take up your responsibility and God given rights!  God Bless the U.S.A.

GLSEN

9/11/2012

You may be thinking, what in the world is that?  Using the tool “Google” on the internet describes GLSEN as an “organization for students, parents, and teachers to promote positive change in the schools.”  The acronym GLSEN stands for “Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network.”  It was founded as a local group in 1990 by a volunteer group of seventy gay and lesbian educators.

Their mission statement is to “strive to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.  Since homophobia and heterosexism undermines a healthy school climate, we work to educate teachers, students and the public at large about the damaging effects these forces have on youth and adults. “

Open Hostility to Christianity
The GLSEN’s creed does not state their blatant and open hostility to God, church, and the heterosexual populations.  The Obama administration, Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberty Union, GLSEN, and other advocates of homosexual behavior are aware of their agenda to limit the free exercise of religion for all.  Dr. Alan Sears, President of the Alliance Defense Fund, states, “these groups aim to radically transform America by taking away your religious freedom.”

Christians must fight these open hostilities.  It is imperative that we take a stand against groups such as GLSEN.  GLSEN and such organizations are well aware that schools are the best place to indoctrinate the young.  They have not concealed their contempt for Christian principles, churches and Christians themselves.

Gospel-Free Zones

Under the disguise of separation of church and state, GLSEN supports all schools, public and private, to have a gospel-free zone, that is, no bibles, no religious courses and no Gideon’s.  The ACLU is the intimidator before the school principals and the school district administrators.  They threaten “law suits” and demand the so called “separation of church and state.”

GLSEN is well-funded and highly influenced by the Obama Administration.  Their promotional pamphlets and videos are attractive and well presented.

Dr. Richard Land, retiring President of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, stated “Unless you and I as Christians stand together and fight the immoral curriculum, the unconstitutional policies, the indoctrination, and intolerance toward Christians, entire generations of students will be raised with fierce hostility toward your beliefs and this nations’ heritage.”

Bullying …..Is Their Pulpit

Be aware that GLSEN is using the “bullying” campaign as their umbrella for “safe schools.”  According to Alliance Defending Freedom, President Obama and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, along with other gay advocates, are using the “safe schools” campaign to politicize homosexual behavior.

The “It Gets Better” campaign by Dan Savage has been endorsed by U.S. Secretary Arne Duncan and President Obama to indoctrinate school children to embrace lesbian/homosexual behavior.  This campaign recently was reported by news agencies as insulting Christians in a vulgarity -laced tirade at a public school.

Be Aware

Christians across our great nation need to be aware of such organizations.  GLSEN, It Gets Better, Planned Parenthood, ACLU, Safe Schools, etc., are just a few of these organizations.
Romans 1:22 states, “professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”  Moral Action (www.macbma.net) supports local churches and pastors, local-state associations, and national organizations such as the Alliance Defense Fund  (www.AllianceDefense.org ) Family Research Council (FRC)  www.FRC.org; Focus on the Family (www.focusonthefamily.com) ; Faith and Family Values (www.faithandfamily.com) ; Christians United for Israel (www.CUFI.org) and National Day of Prayer  (www.Ndptf.org).   We seek to reaffirm Christian believers in the “old paths” and present Jesus Christ as the only way to heaven.  We seek to love the sinner, but hate the sin.  Join with Moral Action in standing for God’s Way and His Way alone.  Pray for our schools.  Write your Senators and Congressmen and Congresswomen to be morally pro-active.

Paul Harvey's America

7/31/2012

Paul Harvey (1918-2009) transformed radio by inspiring a nation to listen to common sense.  This man was unique not only in radio voice but in timely sayings. The brutal murder of his father shaped Paul Harvey’s life and career, howbeit, through many tears.  He had a wonderful high school teacher who helped launch his career into radio. He became a champion for God, His church, those serving in uniform, and our American nation.

Paul Harvey wrote and quoted a prayer that he wrote in 1952.  It was a plea for God to raise up a certain type of President for our country.  The following is that excerpt:

“Almighty God, send us a leader.
A man with his feet planted firmly in American tradition.
A tall man…with his head above the fog of selfish interests.
Not a common man.  This time, God, send us an
                “Uncommon man”…a statesman.
We don’t deserve him, but send him anyway.
And hurry, please.  The hour is late.  The candle of freedom burns low.”

In the foreword of the book by Stephen Mansfield and David Holland, Paul Harvey’s America,
is presented the fact that Paul Harvey understood that America is unique in human history, a nation founded in a vision of freedom that was new in the world at that time. Harvey wanted Americans to never forget the price our forefathers had to pay for freedom.  He would give us the “Rest of the Story” series to teach us what little we knew of our Founding Fathers and Mothers.  They were stalwart souls who paved a great path for each of us.

So, that is the reason that at the peak of his radio talk it was estimated that 24,000,000 people a week listened to his inspirational presentations of hope and love. One of his greatest speeches was given on April 3, 1965.  It is as follows:

“If I were the Devil…I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would of course, want to engulf the whole earth in darkness.  I would have a third of its real estate and four-fifths of its population, but I would not be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree, so I should set about however necessary to take over the United States.  I would begin with a campaign of whispers.  With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve; “do as you please.”  “Do as you please.”

To the young, I would whisper, “The Bible is a myth.”  I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around.  I would confide that what is bad is good, and what is good is “square.”  In the ears of the young marrieds, I would whisper that work is debasing, that cocktail parties are good for you.  I would caution them not to be extreme in religion, in patriotism, in moral conduct.  And the old, I would teach to pray.  I would teach them to say after me:  “Our Father, which art in Washington”…

If I were the devil, I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull and uninteresting.  I’d threaten T.V. with dirtier movies and vice versa.  And then if I were the devil, I’d get organized.  I’d infiltrate unions and urge more loafing and less work, because idle hands usually work for me.  I’d peddle narcotics to whom I could.  I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction.  And I’d tranquilize the rest with pills.

If I were the devil, I would encourage schools to refine young intellects but neglect to discipline emotions…let those run wild.  I would designate an atheist to front for me before the highest courts in the land and I would get preachers to say “she’s right.”  With flattery and promises of power, I could get the courts to rule what I construe as against God and in favor of pornography, and thus, I would evict God from the courthouse, and then from the school house, and then from the houses of Congress and then, in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and I would deify science because that way men would become smart enough to create super weapons but not wise enough to control them.”

If I were Satan, I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg, and the symbol of Christmas, a bottle.  If I were the devil, I would take from those who have and I would give to those who wanted, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious.  And then, my police state would force everybody back to work.  Then, I could separate families, putting children in uniform, women in coal mines, and objectors in slave camps.  In other words, if I were Satan, I’d just keep on doing what he’s doing.”

Paul Harvey, Good Day.

I recommend for enjoyable reading the patriotic common sense book,  Paul Harvey’s America, written by Stephen Mansfield and David Holland,  Tyndale House,  $19.99.

Why Vote Your Values?

6/24/2012

Romans 13:1 “let every soul (you) be subject unto the higher powers.  For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”  God declared that there should be human government and human laws.  There could be no order, no security, or even progress without these two valuable decrees.

My point is this: YOUR VOTE CAN MAKE A TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE.  God established three (3) institutions: the family, the church, and civil government.  WE, as Christians and Americans are responsible to uphold these divine institutions.   Christians have an obligation and right to vote and submit to the governing authorities.  An exception to this rule applies when the government and its leaders are in direct conflict with the Bible and God’s laws.  Dr. Adrian Rogers, Pastor and Author, stated the following,  “when the government condones what God condemns, we must obey God rather than man.”

I.  Christians are obliged to be informed and to vote.
We, as Christians and Americans, must be studious when we vote.  It is your obligation to study and learn what the issues are.  How does the issues relate to your Christian faith, your family, and your nation?   You must vote with Christian convictions and moral stamina.  You must vote intelligently. There are often radical differences in party candidates.  Important issues to consider are life, family and freedom rights.  The following are just a few of the critical areas that are facing our nation at this time:

     1)  There is an ongoing battle to remove the Ten Commandment displays, nativity scenes, voluntary prayer and religious classes from public areas.

     2)  Our nation is being bombarded with “Gay rights, same-sex marriages, same sex adoption rights, and  the push to make homosexuality/lesbianism “normal.”

     3)  Ongoing arguments continue over Bio-medical facts, stem cell harvesting, cloning, and human embryos.

     4)  The war still rages over Abortion/Pro-life and  pro-choice since the Supreme Court ruling in  Roe vs Wade.

     5)  States battle over the issues of Gambling, lotteries and casinos for funding.

     6)  Physician assisted suicide is making strides in the United States.

Moral Action is dedicated to keeping you informed.   This is our obligation.   You  have an obligation to be “value” informed and to cast your votes for candidates that are aligned with platforms that are in agreement with God’s Word.  Our nation depends on you.  Be vigilant in studying the candidates.  Learn where they stand on political and religious issues.

Abraham Lincoln states “Elections belong to the people.  It is their decision.  If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, they will just have to sit on their blisters.”  You may find this quotation also on www.ivotevalues.org

II.  Christians are obliged to do more than just vote.

Author Wayne Grudem offers some insights into the Declaration of Independence and it signees.  The signers knew the signing of the Declaration of Independence was more than a pen or paper issue.  The last line in the
Declaration states:

“And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the
protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our
fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

So what can you do?  Many things!    Here are a few suggestions:
     1)  Email candidates about the issues
     2)  Write letters to candidates regarding critical decisions
     3)  Support financially to just causes
     4)  Carry banners and  signs in support of Biblical causes
     5)  Serve in political offices on the local and state levels

Moral Action encourages  you and your family to VALUE VOTE.   Dr. Richard Land, President of Faith and Family declares, “Don’t get stuck on a politicians label.  Look for candidates who promote decency, accountability, and responsibility framed within Biblical standards.”

YES, YOUR VOTE CAN MAKE A TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE.
Don’t decry if you fail to research or to vote.

The Need to Regain a Conscience

6/24/2012

In the familiar passages of II Chronicles 7, God states “But if ye….”  The Father’s promises are conditional, either we obey and love Him or we turn away from the truth.  The possibility of forfeiture is fully stated in II Chronicles 7:19-20.  The penalty is issued to Israel and also to America.  God stipulates promises and warnings to His nations, families and individuals.

Americans, and especially Christian Americans, need to regain a Godly conscience.  We need to cultivate again an awareness or perception of the events that are taking place in our great nation.  It is time that “judgment begins at the House of God:” I Peter 4:17.  God’s churches will lose her light and salt.  Her light will get dimmer with the possibility of totally being extinguished.

There are strong adjectives used to describe the depravity of our culture.  Some examples are appalling, shocking, seared consciousness and apathetic.  Our American society is deemed as being unscrupulous, beyond reason and not governed by a Godly clear conscience.

It is unconscionable and appalling at the number of professed Christians who cast their votes along party lines.   The term “value voting” needs to be established as a guideline for Christians when voting for candidates.  Take a long, hard look at the core values and the platforms of political candidates.

It is unconscionable that the Ten Commandments and other religious scriptures are being removed from public buildings and government/school offices.  One does not have to go far to hear lewd language, see sexual images and other ungodly promotions advertised, yet God’s word is being removed at a rapid pace.  We need to regain a conscience.

Appalling and unconscionable are befitting words to describe the deeds to have “under God” removed from the Pledge of Allegiance.  Our nation has been and will always be under the mighty hand of God.  Peter declares in I Peter 5:6…”humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.”  Perhaps, America is losing its prominence in the world due to the fact that we are too proud and arrogant and have not humbled ourselves “under God.”

It is unconscionable that our nation is reconsidering its relationship with the nation of Israel and its Prime Minister in recent months.  Joel warned us in Joel 3:2-3  “I will also gather all nations…and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel…”  There is a supernatural curse attached to Israel and its land.  Cursed is the nation that harms Israel.

How did these “unconscionable” attitudes develop?  The “anything goes” philosophy has seen growth in recent years.  Born-again Christians appear to have lost their back-bone.  Some churches have forgotten their responsibility to rebuke sin and transgression.  Teaching, preaching, and living God’s Word helps Christians to develop a strong, healthy, Godly conscience.

We need to regain our conscience.  One might ask?

Where are the Babylonians?
Where are the Greeks?
Where are the Romans?

Will they one day, ask…………..Where are the Americans?

Decisions

Decisions   Our lives are affected daily by decisions that are made on the state and national levels of our government.  Our elected officials play vital roles in most aspects of our lives.

Involvement   We as Christians,  are God’s representatives.  We can make a tremendous difference as individuals.  We must become more involved in state/  national elections and government affairs to protect our churches and to strengthen our way of life.  Churches and dedicated believers can and should inform their elected legislators regarding spiritual/moral issues.

Make it Happen
One of the most effective tools available for Christians to help shape legislations at the state and national levels is personal contact.  Taking the time to write, call, fax or email lawmakers can make great things happen.

Keep in Mind
Remember the following etiquette when contacting your legislators.
Via Personal Contact:
1. Be prompt, after setting up an appointment.
2. Plan your discussion or concern.
3. Be brief and to the point.
4. Be polite.

Via letter:
1. Be clear, precise and if writing,  write legibly.
2. Write before the vote, not afterwards
3. Be informed, not “hear say.”
4. Be specific.
5. Include your name, address, and telephone numbers.

Via Telephone:
1. Telephone only if it is urgent.
2. Be willing to talk with a staff member.   They are qualified and will get the message to the officials.
3. Leave your telephone numbers in case they have further questions.

“Is the Church Unfair to Women?”
I Timothy 2:12-15

Is the modern day church “behind the times in its attitude toward women?”  A growing number answer, “yes.”  They say that women are restricted.  What should the Bible- believing Christian’s response be regarding equal rights for women?  How should church leaders respond, and what should be the attitude of Christian women?

I.  The World and Women’s Rights - A controversial  issue

The battle and victory for women’s rights has influenced every aspect of our national life, including our churches.  This brings up a difficult question - are women treated fairly in the New Testament Church?

The role of women in the church has caused conflicts in some denominations and churches.  Barriers have been removed to once-forbidden secular occupations in the ministry.   Some liberal leaders are upset because they believe the church is lagging far behind on these issues.

Critics argue that conservative churches are steeped in prejudice and need to be enlightened.  On the surface, their arguments may sound convincing.   Arguments are made that many women outstrip men in spiritual gifts and abilities.  By not allowing women to use these talents, the church is missing out.

Some theologians argue that the requirements for pastors outlined in I Timothy 3:1-7 have been grossly misinterpreted - that they merely reflect cultural prejudices of Paul’s day.  How should the present day Church respond to such pressure?  What should the church say to sincere dedicated women who truly want to serve the Lord?

II.  God’s Word and Women’s Rights  - Clear Answers from the Bible

The Bible answers several basic misunderstandings:

There is a basic error in understanding the scope and nature of the differences between the sexes.  The Bible does not teach that men are superior to women, but that they are different.  In creating woman, God did not make a carbon copy of what He had already made.  He fashioned a personality and spirit that would complement man and supply the qualities that man lacked.

The tendency today is to assume that except for physical differences, men and women are of the same mold.  Therefore, they are to be competitive.  That is not God’s intent.  God created male and female to work together, not to compete.

We commit a basic error when we try to sweep differences under the rug.  It may appear to be successful for a time, but in the end we violate something elemental to our inner structure.  Let’s evaluate the Word of God on the subject  - I Timothy 2:12.  The New Testament makes it clear that administration is a man’s calling.  Early church leaders were called elders and deacons.  Qualifications required these offices to be held by men.

I Timothy 2:13-15, Paul gives two reasons why the woman cannot scripturally usurp authority over the man.  First, woman was not created to be independent; second, the woman had been the first to give place to sin.

The man’s role at the church and home is not just a badge of honor; it is a mantle of responsibility.  Men make a mistake when they think that their headship makes them far superior to women.  God has set the guidelines for men and women.  God loves men and women equally.   Each are called to different tasks..

In a “His” magazine interview, Elizabeth Elliott made an interesting point.  “Positions of leadership in the church are not rewards of competence alone.  They are not earned or assigned purely on the basis of ability.  They are assigned sovereignly by God.  Those who take positions of authority in the church must be ordained of God.”  Do not be misled by secular arguments that the Scriptures are influenced by cultural bias—God’s Word is inspired and adaptable to all ages and both sexes.

III.  Christian Women and Women’s Rights  - A consecrated Attitude

Satisfaction in God’s Work comes not from title or position but from faithfulness in service.  Since apostolic times, women have found fulfillment in the church.  Examples such as, “ Phebe” of Romans 16:1; Mary, Martha and the certain women of Luke 8.  These women found honor in faithfulness and effective service.  Paul mentions Tryphena, Tryphosa, Persia, Eudias, and Syntyche as “fellow workers in the Lord.”

The gifts and insights of women can help and encourage the Christian men in leadership roles.  Women are powerful in witnessing and in prayer partnership.  They are excellent teachers.

The world has it ideas of who should lead the church.  Those who do not understand the Bible will wave banners of “new equality.”  They minimize and rationalize.  The true Christian understands that God’s teachings are correct and unbiased.

Our culture has become sex-crazed!  A statement that should shock each of us, yet it is so true.  Today’s kids face a culture that is unabashedly saturated with lustfulness,  sexual attractiveness, and immediate gratification.

Teens are naturally curious and willing to try new and different “feelings.”  Sexual curiosity fuels the fire of lust and many young people and adults have become entrapped with “sexual experimentations.”    This lust, and eventual sex before marriage is not to be considered as a “harmless experience of life.”  Lust leads to hurt, spiritual decline, sexual addictions and fornication and adultery.  Acting upon sinful thoughts can be catastrophic.  I Peter 2:11 states:
“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul:”

Let’s take a closer look:

1) The View of God’s Word on Sexuality
     A.  Human sexuality is seen as very good.
     B.  God created sex and He wants couples to enjoy it...Genesis 2:21-25.
     C.  Sexual intercourse is for procreation, pleasure, and for oneness.
     D.  God designed sex for marriage.

2) The Consequences of Sex Before Marriage

A loss of self-respect, a loss of virginity, possible unwanted pregnancy, possible illegitimate children,  forced marriage, decisions regarding abortion, sexually transmitted disease are all possible consequences of pre-marital sex.  Josh McDowell expounds upon this in his book entitled, Handbook on Counseling Youth.”"The emotional costs of sexual immorality are immeasurable.  Low  self-esteem, humiliation, and even self- hatred are common testimonials of those who practice “free sex.”

Manhattan sex therapist, Shirley Zussman says, “Being part of a meat market is appalling in terms of self-esteem.”

A teenage girl describes her account of anguish and hurt in this open testimony:

“Having premarital sex was the most horrifying experience of my life.  It wasn’t at all the emotionally satisfying experience the world deceived me into believing.  I felt as if my insides were being exposed and my heart left unattended....I know God has forgiven me of this haunting sin, but I also  know I can never have my virginity back.  I dread the day that I have to tell the man I truly love and wish to marry that he is not the only one, though I wish he were....I have stained my life - a stain that will never come out.”

Proverbs 5:15-21 signals a flashing warning:

“Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.  Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.  Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.  Let thy fountain be blessed; and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.  Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.  And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?  For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.”

3) Helps to maintain a chaste lifestyle:

     A.  Study God’s Word.  Stay close to God’s Word with daily devotionals and pure thoughts.
Include prayer and  praise to the Lord.  Focus on purity and chasity.
     B.  Set Godly Standards for Yourself
Determine to set specific limits for any and all types of sexual impurity.
“NO” is okay and no explanation is  needed.
     C.  Set Definite Plans when Dating
Plan your agenda ahead of time when dating.    Where are you going, what are you going to do,
who will be with you, when are you going home.
     D.  Listen  to Wise Counsel
There are many older and wiser Christian examples for you to follow.
Emulate those who have won Godly victories over the impulsiveness of sexuality.

Do not let sexual matters become a bondage upon you.  Sex before marriage hinders ones relationship with the Holy Father.  Walk with your Lord and prayer for help in time of temptations.

See You at the Pole!  Your Moral Action agency highly encourages all our pastors, youth ministers, and youth/children leaders to begin preparation for Wednesday, September 22.   See You at the Pole is held at your local Mississippi schools.  This is a global day of prayer as young students, children and their leaders gather around the flag pole to pray.

SYATP is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.  It began in 1990, as a grass roots movement.  Twenty years later, millions of Lord believing kids pray on their school campus.  This event is designated for the fourth Wednesday in September yearly.

In Mantachie, MS, the adults meet at the same hour at the Town Hall flag pole.  We pray for our children and those that lead them.  The daycare centers in Mantachie also schedules events for the SYATP.

I urge all our churches to join in and seek God’s face.  We have the greatest kids in our own BMA of  Mississippi congregations.  Let’s go Mississippi.

Help with Dropout Prevention!  Continuing our discussion regarding Mississippi schools and their campuses, let me urge our churches, pastors, and youth leaders to promote our students to stay in school.  Twenty six (26%) percent of students in Mississippi dropout annually.  This ratio spans every race and socio-economic group.  Especially hard hit are the 9th - 12th grades.  Moral Action of Mississippi is a proponent of all students acquiring a better life for themselves.  We need strong Christian high school and college educated leaders for the future.

Slow to Recognize the Porn Dangers!  Online pornography continues to grow at alarming rates.  It threatens our children, teens, and young adults. The spread of porn has changed America and affects many lives and homes.  Many Christian adults have been slow to recognize the ease with which pornography is presented to your children.  Images are on the pop-up screens of the computers.  Sexual predators lure your children, via the internet, in their bedrooms, at their desks, and in their own homes..

Check out this site ,“National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families (NCPCF)."   This is an evangelical non-profit organization whose purpose is to protect children and families from porn.  Check out  links on the site for many pointers and advice regarding sexual purity.  Christians must continue to fight the evils of these days.
