We hope that each church and pastor of the BMA of Mississippi has led out in the Petition to amend the Mississippi Constitution. Initiative #26 would amend the Mississippi Constitution to define the word “person” or “persons” as those terms are used in Article III of the state constitution, to include every human being from the moment of fertilization. Each Mississippi Church has been mailed a packet from the CAC office with instructions on how to circulate the petition and take the petition to the county clerk for certification of all signees. This is a great way to express our voices against the evil act of abortions. We need 90,000 signatures over the state in order for the petition to be presented to the state legislature.
