Joni Eareckson Tada, 2011 National Day of Prayer Honorary Chairperson, states, “Americans have forgotten what made this country great over the last centuries.”
The first Thursday of May has been designated “the National Day of Prayer.” This year the date is Thursday, May 5, 2011. It is a time for the people of God to reflect upon our religious heritage. Will you join other Christian believers as we pray for America?
You may ask, How?
1. Open Your Church sanctuary to pray. Pray all day!
2. Go to your City Hall, Town Square, or the Court House and pray with others.
3. Seek out a flag pole and gather in groups to pray for our nation.
