NEW CAC WEBSITE
With much excitement, our CAC trustees and Director announce our new, beautiful and informative web site. I invite each of you to visit online at www.CACBMA.NET and take a look at your website.
We plan to keep the site up to date with fact filled moral and social issues. We owe our special thanks to Ms Cherry Sims. Cherry is a member of First Baptist, Mantachie where she is our keyboardist. She works for the American Family Association (AFA and AFR) in Tupelo. Please promote and announce the website to your congregations.

CAC BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS
Check with your local bookstore for any of these books. They pertain to “moral issues” and “morality of America.”
1. Culture Warrior by Bill O’Reilly, Broadway Books, approximately $15
2. A Man of Faith by David Aikman, W Publishing Group, approximately $15
3. Rediscovering God in America by Newt Gingrich, Integrity House, approximately $15
4. The A.C.L.U. versus America by Alan Sears, Broadman and Holman, approximately $15
These would be excellent gifts for your pastor, Sunday School teacher, a friend or family member.
MOVIE, “FIREPROOF”
Have you had the opportunity to view this terrific movie, yet? If not, load up the car or church-van and go see this movie. It is a great attribute to the power of God and His Word in a marriage. Ms. Adams and I had the privilege to meet the Executive Producer and Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church, Rev. Michael Catt. This congregation and pastor are honoring the Lord with the phenomenal venture of producing a Christian movie. The basis for this movie is found in Hebrews 13:4.
ASSOCIATIONAL MEETING
I hope to see many of you at our Christian Action Commission (CAC) display at the State Association meeting October 20-22, Southeastern College. Please come by our display, chat with us and let us know of your needs and ideas. We all need each other as we face a changing culture and battle Satan. We will have hand-outs and hopefully, helpful materials for you to take back to your congregations.
2007-2008
The CAC has tackled mainly the issue of “Gambling” in 2007-2008. Our major thrust has been on denouncing this blight upon our state and nation. We hope that this has helped give your church the courage to fight and have a better Christian life. The trustees and I will announce our major emphasis for 2008-2009 at the BMA of Mississippi annual meeting. We need your support and especially your prayers.

Bro Shane’s hometown is Laurel. He is married to the former Ginny Purser of Seminary. He has been in the ministry for nine years, of which he has been pastor of Parkview, Laurel for six years. It is a joy to work with Bro. Shane.
